The "Angel's Poem" series was the most requested series through the "VALIS Revival Support Project" and the "Cosmic Fantasy Revival Project."
In response to requests from our fans, we are pleased to present this title, a hidden gem on the PC Engine.
We are pleased to announce that, as the second installment of the Telenet Revival series, we have decided to develop "Tenshi no Uta COLLECTION" for Nintendo Switch™.
"Tenshi no Uta" (Angel's Song) is a role-playing game series released by Nippon Telenet in 1991 and 1993 for the PC Engine SUPER CD-ROM².
This RPG, themed around romance between men and women and inspired by Celtic mythology, was groundbreaking for its time in incorporating the concepts of day and night, and has earned high praise from users as a hidden gem. Furthermore, it skillfully utilizes the visual scenes cultivated in the "VALIS" and "Cosmic Fantasy" series, and its moving scenario still resonates deeply today.
The crowdfunding campaign launched as the "Angel's Poem Revival Support Project" offers various rewards, including a download code for the Nintendo Switch game "Angel's Poem COLLECTION," a soundtrack CD of the game's famous background music, original merchandise such as art books that capture the game's world, and exclusive items created with the cooperation of Hiroshi Fujii, the character designer for the first game.
